Hugs and kisses to you all, I am on a natural high!

Roholio has gone from 290 likes on facebook to 329 in the past week and okay I know that likes aren't the be all and end all but between you and me, Mike and I are a just a little bit like that cow jumping over the moon ;) It's nice to know we are reaching more people and it's mad because we've been locked away recording and rehearsing for over a month now so it's really nice to see people taking notice of our shenanigans! Gives us the encouragement to make Geography that little bit better :)

Anyway before I tell you how all that's coming along I shall share our rehearsal antics with you. Okay so we've been trying to arrange a tune for recording for a while now and I've suggested numerous times to Mike that he colour it in so that he remembers when he's bowing and when he's plucking so last practise this is what his sheet looked like. In amazement I gazed at the squiggles of colour before me and quickly he chirped in with, "I know it looks green but its not meant to be, the colours just mixed." "It's okay" I replied. He protested, "if it was green it would be in G." O....K

Now I would think him mad but actually there is such a thing as seeing colours with music and I have to admit I too am guilty of having this but green is E not G Mike! I refuse to accept your greeny G :-P

Anyway... He got his revenge. There we were deep into a song and the doorbell goes, 'just be a minute' he says. I hold his bass... his very heavy double bass....his very heavy bass off-balance and what does he do? Take a picture :( I know it sounds lame but it really hurt my wrists!

So back to the "real" news... we now have an online store via reverbnation thanks to our PR, photographer, Roadie and general all-around-nice-guy Ben Clarke. This is incredibly handy as 'Ghosts' has been sold out for some time and so we can now offer it to you online as a download which means you get a better deal and I don't have to do too much heavy lifting with CDs (clearly I'm not cut out for it).

He's also done a lot of updating and tidying on our facebook page so things are look that little bit more swish (clearly I'm not cut out for that either!) so things are ticking along nicely as ever and this time next week we will have finished our second session in the studio for Geography! Oooo very exciting times ahead!

So it's all coming together but before I go I must say a huge thank you to The Voice FM for their continued support. I have honestly lost count of the amount of airplay and plugs we've have had so from the bottom of my heart guys, thanks :) I cannot stress enough the importance of local radio and how much it means to us penniless musicians trying to make a name for ourselves when a DJ says, "I love what you do." Just keeps us going, you know? So thanks, and thank you guys out there for listening!

Be in touch again soon
